TOPIC: Tell the Good News (2) TEXT: Matthew 9:35-38  

MEMORY VERSE: Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

CENTRAL TRUTH
Pray for more workers.

TEACHER’S OBJECTIVE
To encourage the children to work for the Lord by telling others the good news.

INTRODUCTION
Introduce the lesson with the following song:-
Good News, Good News
Christ died for me,
Good News, Good News
If I believe
Good News, Good News
I am saved eternally
That’s wonderful, extra Good News.

PROGRESSION OF EVENTS
1. The Lord Jesus went about teaching and preaching the gospel in all the cities and villages.
2. But when He saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion on them.
3. For they were as sheep having no shepherd.
4. Them Jesus told His disciples that the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.
5. Pray that God will send more workers.

LIFE APPLICATION
We need to pray for more workers, as there are many people who are ready for salvation.
We need to pray for more teachers and preachers who would tell the good news to others.
Are you working for the Lord by telling others the good news.

INVITATION
Have you believed in Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world? If you believe in Jesus you will
be forgiven of your sins and you would live eternally with God.”
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in
Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. What does Jesus want us to do? Jesus wants us to pray for more workers.
2. Are you working for Jesus?
3. Will you tell others the Good News?

ACTIVITIES
Teacher should give out tracts to the children to be given to their friends who are not
Christians at their various schools.

Let the children trace the word – Tell others and colour in the dotted shapes Bible.

DAILY DEVOTION
MONDAY         - John 4:1-5 - Jesus went to a city of Samaria.
TUESDAY        - John 4:6-10 – Jesus talked to a Samaritan woman
WEDNESDAY   – Psalm 3 – The Samaritan woman asked for living water
THURSDAY      - Psalm 4 - The Samaritan woman perceived that Jesus was a prophet.
FRIDAY           - Psalm 5 - Worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
SATURDAY      - Psalm 6 - Jesus revealed Himself as Christ.
SUNDAY          - Acts. 1:8 -The Samaritan woman witnessed to others.
